I’m a professional web and print designer with over 10 years of experience in my field. In that time I’ve pushed myself with every project, striving to innovate and polish my product, not because I have to, but because it’s my passion. I use current trends and ideas in my print work and incorporate cutting edge technologies in my web designs; all while keeping the functionality of my sites intuitive and easy. I push myself because it benefits my client, gives me a personal sense of satisfaction, and sharpens my skill.
I’ve worked with large corporations as well as smaller independent companies that required a unique and personal touch. Working as a freelance agent allows me to completely immerse myself in my current project, giving me the chance to give it and my client more attention than I could if I worked for a company. From the germ of an idea to the completion of the site or print media I remain there to follow through fully on my promise to deliver a product that’s vibrant, easy to maintain, and completely unique. Whether it’s a clean corporate design or a wildly unconventional site, I’ll work with you until we’re both proud of the result.
Everything I do is 100% compliant with web standards set forth by the w3c.com (The World Wide Web Consortium). My CSS is written in shorthand to save space and all my web pages are hand-coded to work in all browsers. My sites are also designed to be easily read by people with disabilities.
When I build a site I use a technique called CSS Image sprites, a new system of webpage design. All the images for the website are contained within 2 or 3 files to maintain an overall low server load requirement. This saves both space on the server and time to load the page, and is overall, one of the best ways to design a site.
My code is written using the proper tag structure that will give you maximum organic search engine results. By using the right header tags and content structure, google, yahoo, and other major search engines can properly read and index your content. There is much more to SEO then the way the pages are coded, but it all starts with the code and without the proper code you'll never get the results you are looking for.
